Music at Grace
Grace Church's well-known music program is led by our Music Director and Organist, Dr. Noel Lester. Dr. Lester served as the Director of Music here at Grace from 1986-1990, and then returned to us in 2007. He is also a Concert Pianist and Professor of Music at Hood College here in Frederick.
Dr. Lester is the Artistic Director of the Maryland Concert Opera, which is in residence at Grace Church.

Our Choir
The Senior Choir prepares music to enhance our worship every Sunday morning. Occasionally, as we did last year, we will host a guest choir. The Senior Choir rehearses on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of each month, as well as the third Sunday, after worship.
New members are always welcome!
Choir Schedule:
Thursday, May 17th - 7:00 p.m. - Rehearsal
Sunday, May 20th - Rehearsal following worship
Thursday, May 24th - 7:00 p.m. - Rehearsal
We Love our Choir!
Sunday, June 17th will be the Senior Choir’s last Sunday in the choir loft for this season. During the summer, thanks to the “Friends of the Choir” fund, we will be treated to special music by the Lester family, our Hood College interns and a few guest musicians.
Following worship on June 17th, we will thank our choir members and Dr. Lester with a Choir Appreciation luncheon in the Good Shepherd Room. If you would like to help plan the celebration, please call or email the church office. Monetary donations for the food would be greatly appreciated – just mark your check “Choir Appreciation” and drop it in the offering plate or mail it to the office. Any funds left after the food is paid for will be donated to the “Friends of the Choir” fund.
