We Are a People of Worship
Grace Church is known for its outstanding music program and provides Bible-centered worship which includes lay participation. It is in worship that we hear the story of God's love for us in Jesus Christ, share concern for individuals and for our community, and are sent forth into the world to do God's mission.

February 5, 2012 - Fifth Sunday after Epiphany
Join us for worship and Holy Communion at 11:00 a.m.
Today we will be participating in the Souper Bowl of Caring to collect money and non-perishable food for the Frederick Food Bank.
February 12, 2012 - Sixth Sunday after Epiphany
We will celebrating Evolution Weekend. Dr. Lee Barrett from Lancaster Theological Seminary will be our guest preacher. Following worship and a light luncheon, Dr. Barrett will join Dr. Syed Haque and Dr. Anna Johnson-Winegar for a panel discussion on the topic of Creation and Evolution. February 19, 2012 - Transfiguration
Rev. Dr. John Deckenback, Conference Minister and consultant to our Pastoral Search Committee, will be our guest preacher. Following worship, he will briefly outline the search process and address questions from the congregation.
Beginning at noon, we will offer 15 minutes of meditative music, followed by a 15-minute prayer service with Imposition of Ashes. We will repeat the music and the prayer service through 2:00 p.m. If you wish, please bring your lunch - our Good Shepherd Room will be open with complimentary beverages provided.
