Education

Our Christian Education program offers Sunday School for all ages and Vacation Bible School for children where all have the opportunity to learn of Christ and his mission, and to grow in faith and understanding. We also have opportunities for adults and youth to participate in Bible study and other learning opportunities during the week at various times throughout the year.

The program includes

• opportunities for teacher training
• youth ministries
• preparation for membership through a three-year Confirmation program

We use Bible-based curricula for all children's Christian Education and have discussion group and Bible-based classes for adults.

We have a program that we call Junior Church which is held during a portion of the worship service for children age 6 through grade 5.

We have two libraries, an Adult Library near the worship center and a special library just for children in the educational wing.

Fellowship

Through a monthly newsletter, members and friends are informed of church programs and activities. Refreshments and conversation follow each Sunday worship service.

Special activities have included:
• All-Daughters' Banquet in May (Prepared and served by the "Grace Chefs")
• Congregational Turkey Dinner served on the Sunday before Thanksgiving and prepared by the "Grace Chefs" and hosted by our Pastors
• From time to time there are also a variety of fund raisers in the building from Mission Committee-sponsored pancake breakfasts to prime rib dinners and bazaars
• A Winter Picnic and Talent Show has traditionally been held in January
