The Women of Grace

"Whenever two or more women gather, great things can happen!"

The Women of Grace would like to thank the congregation for their support for our events in past years. We have had a wonderful time hosting events such as the Lenten Wednesday Night Soul Supper Series, and especially appreciate the support for our first Rummage/Craft/Bake/Book Sale. Through your support of our events, we have been able to raise enough money to offer several scholarships for upcoming Women's Retreats. Right now, we have cookbooks for sale for $10 each with recipes submitted by various Grace Church members. Please see the sale table in the rear of the Good Shepherd Room for your copy or call the church office to reserve one.

What's a WOG you ask? We are the Women of Grace. We were founded in 2004 as an extended mission of Grace United Church of Christ, to focus on the spiritual well-being of the women of our church. In addition our outreach extends to all members of Grace and our surrounding community. We raised over $400 with an initial bake sale and received a generous grant of $250 from the Trustees and the WOG's were well on their way. We look forward to planning lots of fun events as well as raising money to help support our church family. Our planning meetings are normally held on the third Sunday of each month following "Companionship Time" in the Good Shepherd Room. Please consider joining our Women as we gather together to do God's work here at Grace United Church of Christ.
