Worship
We Are a People of Worship
Grace Church is known for its outstanding music program and provides Bible-centered worship which includes lay participation.
It is in worship that we hear the story of God's love for us in Jesus Christ, share concern for individuals and for our community, and are sent forth into the world to do God's mission.
First Sunday - Holy Communion for both adults and children who have completed Communion instruction.
Third Sunday - Dedication of our non-perishable food donations for the Food Pantry.
Fourth Sunday - Opportunity for prayers for healing and reconciliation for self or others at the conclusion of the service.
Fifth Sunday - HYMNSING for opening and closing hymns from among those in the congregation.
Special Programs have included:
- Congregational, intergenerational production of "Jesus Christ Super Star"
- Youth outreach production of "Godspell" and "Love Changes Everything" (A Bible-storied musical using Broadway Show tunes and written by Truuke Ameigh, Director of Music and Pat Joy, Education Coordinator).
- Special programs for the children including Children's Sabbath in October, A Christmas Pageant/Program in December and Children's Day in June to close out the program year.
